"Tell me what you eat, and I'll tell you who you are." - Brillat-Savarin * * * * * * * * * * * Tuxedo Jack ~and~ Craptacularly Spignificant Productions - present, with apologies to Takeuchi and Akamatsu - The Reference Guide to OVSDHH:ACTSNB! * * * * * * * * * * * You wondered what all those numbers in my work were? It's simple. Take a look! 1: Myuu. That's how Tama's speech is spelled. 2: Yes, it's true, Su does flash her panties when she jump-kicks Keitaro. Reference manga number 7 in the story marked "That Serious Guy is a Criminal?!" 3: "Togg" is a direct reference to the Chicken Ball Awards of 1999. I seriously doubt anyone even remembers that, and that's why I retain my position as one of the master guides to the dark lands of the fanfiction of the past. 4: Strong Bad. I'm sorry for even mentioning that. >_< 5: "Big stupid dummy" is a reference to the Aa! Megami-sama! manga that was dubbed as "Miss Keiichi -" specifically, the last section in the manga, the one where they found the puppy and Skuld blasted Keiichi for not keeping it. Naru calling Keitaro baka... well, that's going to tie in with something I've got in the works. 6: *Hums the theme to Super Mario Brothers* In the original Super Mario Brothers, if you landed on the flagpole when the last digit of the timer was a 1, a 3, or a 6, you'd get that number of fireworks and each one was worth 500 points. 7: An indirect reference to Fushigi Yuugi's ending theme, "Tokimeki no Doukasen," or, roughly translated, "Fuse to My Heart." 8: Long story, don't ask. I'll only say this - "Love Hina Six." It has a Naru/Mutsumi/Haruka threesome scene. Yeah, you read that right. Naru/Mutsumi/Haruka. It's certainly off the beaten path, ne? Whoops, bad choice of words. 9: "Oujosama to Oyobi" is the infamous image song of the elder Jurai royal sister. The English lyrics are on Jlyrics in the Tenchi directory. And if you want the MP3, message me and I'll send it to you via Trillian. I don't use AIM or MSN any more; they have ads, and ads suck ass. Besides, who knows what they're sending out there with your conversations? 10: Tanabata is the festival in Japan where the legendary lovers Shokujo and Kengyu supposedly meet once a year on July 7th due to the anger of the Lord of Heaven, who separated them due to their desire to play instead of work. For more data on this, refer to Sailor Moon Manga #10 in the section marked "Rini's Picture Diary." It's on page 140. 11: A reference to part 3 of the Magical Troubleshooting Crossover Fighting Tournament Beta by Stefan "Twoflower" Gagne of Improfanfic fame. I highly suggest you read his series "Slayers Virtual," which is easily one of the best-written Slayers stories on the 'Net. 12: Yeah. I'm sorry, but Bush's choice of wording just lent itself to this. 13: Urashima Haruka is voiced by Hayashibara Megumi, who played Lina Inverse in the "Slayers" trilogy, hence the Dragon Slave comment. * * * * * Did you catch them all? If you did, you get a cookie. Go reward yourself. If you didn't, go back and try again. Oh, wait, you've seen the answers. It's pointless now. Go get a cookie anyways. You deserve it for reading the tripe that I put out. And so, I close the book on Over-Violent Student Double Hail Hina: A Crossover that Should Never Be. I hope you had as much fun reading it as I did writing it. Ja! Tuxedo Jack Tuxedojack@juno.com June 3rd, 2003 "Jack read the note before lifting his head up. 'Uhm... Kanako sent you?' 'Correct,' Motoko answered almost... shyly."
